Unaccepted work can be picked up Saturday September 5th. If you cannot make that date due to the Holiday weekend, we also have a pick-up scheduled for Tuesday September 7th from 5:30 - 7:30.
This years exhibit in West Hartford Center will run from September 9 - October 9th. Work will be displayed in over 75 storefront windows of participating merchants. To download a prospectus, click here.
Join us Saturday September 11 from 9-4 for ArtWalk related activities at the corner of LaSalle and Arapahoe Roads in West Hartford Center.
- Sidewalk chalk competition for all ages from 9-3 p.m. Pre-register to guarantee a space.
- 9-3 p.m. West Hartford Art League faculty members will paint outside throughout the center
- 12 - 1 : Drumming by Playtivity
- 1-2 Visit merchants and artists juried into the ArtWalk exhibit. Participating merchants will supply refreshments and select artists will be available to discuss their work.
- 2 p.m. 40 minute walk and talk with juror Cat Balco. Pre-registration required at (860) 231-8019.
- 2:30: Music by guitarist Ivor Pelles, of the CT Guitar society
- 3-4 p.m Join us under the tent for a silent auction of plein air work.
- 3:15: Chalk awards presented by Channel 30 news anchor Brad Drazen.
- 4 p.m. Free poetry reading with CT poets Ginny Lowe Connors, Pat Hale, and Sandra Bishop.
